Night tennis enhances the social atmosphere and interaction between club members and players from other clubs.
Seasons, Gradings and General Conduct of Night Matches
Waverley Night Tennis is played on a Seasonal basis, viz., an Autumn Season commencing in February through June and a Spring Season commencing in July though November each year. Team entries close late November and late May, respectively. Scheduled play is avoided whenever possible during school holidays.
Waverley Tennis offers your club and players many opportunities. Multiple grades A/A Res through C Sp cater for all levels of ability and guarantee maximum enjoyment. All matches are conducted over two courts with a home and away format. Matches start at 7.30 p.m. and conclude approximately 9.30 p.m. allowing time for social activity to be enjoyed or the players the opportunity of being home early if required.
