International Tennis Federation
Rules of Tennis

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) is the governing body of the game of tennis and its duties and responsibilities include determination of the Rules of Tennis.

With the 2004 issue of the Rules of Tennis the ITF has taken the opportunity to update the format and presentation of the rules which have been revised into a more modern language and easier to follow sequence. This has resulted in a reduction in the number of rules, and for reference purposes in this new edition the old rule number is shown in brackets.
