Waverley Tennis - Court Monitors - Request for Tournament Assistance

Waverley Tennis is seeking the volunteer assistance of persons interested in being trained up as Court Monitors for its upcoming 2022 tournaments.

Tennis Australia (TA) has a training and accreditation program for interested and available persons to assist Tournament Directors and existing Tennis Australia Court Supervisors with on-court duties at tournaments being conducted by Tournament Providers, including Tennis Clubs and Tennis Associations, in 2022.

This program is an entry level accreditation for persons wishing to assist in providing official supervision at tournament level.

Details on the Participant Obligations and Required Skills are available from Tennis Australia Officiating via its website, or from the Waverley Tennis Tournament Manager (Lyn Gillen) or President (Mark Collins).

It is now an obligation of Tournament Providers, including Tennis Clubs and Tennis Associations, to provide Court Monitors to assist in the smooth running of their events, and this obligation applies to Waverley Tennis.

If you want to find about more about becoming a Court Monitor, please contact Lyn or Mark.
