Match results vs UTR results

Waverley Tennis has been receiving some queries from clubs regarding the treatment of rubbers, or sets (in Triples), that have not been played due to a player having forfeited the previous rubber/set and how the results are being posted into TROLS and UTR.

Following the 2025 AGM, By-law 21 (e) was updated to the following:

Scores Uploaded to UTR - The ladder score for the Competition will be the same as the match score uploaded to UTR, including when a player cannot complete a match for any reason.

Rubbers (in Open S/D Rubbers or Open Rubbers), or set(s) (in Triples), not started due to any reason will not be uploaded to UTR; provided this has been entered into the Comments box on the scoresheet, and entered into TROLS along with the match results.

Clubs are advised to ensure that all teams/players are supplied with this information and are reminded that this policy was agreed to by a majority of clubs at the last AGM.
